The Music Ministry at First Presbyterian provides opportunities in worship, education, nurture, musical performance and outreach. Through the great music of the church, we share the story of the Gospel of Christ and offer praise and glory to God.

Schantz Organ
In 2001 a three manual, 56-rank Schantz pipe organ was installed by the Schantz Organ Company of Orville, Ohio. The organ not only enhances music for regular worship and special services, but it is also a resource to the music community serving as a practice instrument for organ students and a splendid instrument for concert performances.  Click here to see the organ specification.

The Jackson Memorial Carillon
The Jackson Memorial Carillon, with its 47 bells, is a unique feature of our music ministry, providing music for community events, worship services and weddings.  It is one of fewer than 200 such instruments in North America, and it’s distinctive and melodious tones may be heard every 30 minutes as it plays the Westminster Chimes.  Carillon renovations have been completed and a special rededication service is planned for October 4, 2009.
