Stewardship

"Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work."
2 Corinthians 9:7-8

Stewardship is centered around the reality and presence of Christ in our lives and in the world. it Involves a careful and caring use of our spiritual and physical resources. Our first act of stewardship is to accept and trust the presence of Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of our lives. We grow in faith and service by being good stewards. Stewardship is our pledge to live a Christ-like life by practicing:

• stewardship of self- growing and maturing in our faith
• stewardship of community- service to our human communities far and near, and to our physical environment.
• stewards of resources- time, talent, and money.
