Children

At First Presbyterian our children take an active part in many worship and music opportunities to help them not only to grow in their faith,
but to serve Christ and His church.

Wednesday Elementary Program
BLAST! (Bible Learning and Singing Together) is for children age 4-5th grade every Wednesday from 6:00-7:00 pm. Children enjoy having music time with Miss Ginna(Children's Choir Director) and Miss Marlie (Children's Director) as well as related Bible stories, crafts, and games.

Sunday School Opportunities
Rotation Sunday School - Journey to the Holy Land Schedule
K-5th grade. Come to Jerusalem! We are proud to feature the Rotation Sunday School model for our elementary aged kids. The entire floor has been transformed into a street right out of Jerusalem in Biblical times. Children learn about the Bible in 4-5 week workshops rotating through drama, puppets, movies, crafts, storytelling, and even cooking !

Worship Opportunities
All children are welcome and encouraged to remain in church during the entire service if they wish.

"Children's Church" Children age 4-8 are invited to leave the sanctuary immediately following "Time With Children." They will be escorted by a volunteer to the 2nd floor of the Education building. After Church, the children will be escorted to their appropriate Sunday School rooms. 

"Worship Bags" are provided for children to use during worship that include puzzles and games that relate to the scripture readings for the day. They are located on a table in the back of the sanctuary. Please return them at the end of worship.

Vacation Bible School
Our children (and adult volunteers!) enjoy Vacation Bible School each year during the summer.
