Administrative Staff

​Nelda Rhodes, Church Secretary
Nelda has been on staff since May of 2001. Prior to serving First Presbyterian Church, Nelda was the co-owner and partner of Rhodes Appliance Center in Henderson, Tennessee. A former member of First Presbyterian, Nelda has a long history with the church, as well as fond memories of Sunday School, Youth Group and Church League Basketball.

Nelda has a Bachelor of Science Degree in computers from Lambuth University.

​Vicki Pope, Financial & Educational Secretary
Vicki has been on staff since April of 1992. Prior to serving First Presbyterian Church, Vicki was the Vice President at C&W Construction Company of Jackson, Tennessee. Vicki was born and grew up in Jackson. She came back to Jackson after attending Peabody College in Nashville, Tennessee. Vicki has one child, her daughter Ashley, who is a personal trainer living in Knoxville, Tennessee.

"I am humbled by the trust placed in me by our church family and always will try to repay that trust by striving to provide efficient, accurate accounting and business management for our church and its members."

​Tamara Haynes, Custodian
Tamara served as a nursery worker for First Presbyterian Church in 1985 and then began as the church custodian in 2001.

"I view my role as custodian as a way of providing a clean and welcoming facility for all of the members and guests of First Presbyterian Church."

Bruce Morgan, Groundskeeper
Bruce is our “Groundskeeper” and keeps the exterior looking beautiful. Bruce also works at Procter and Gamble, so he is here at odd hours and days.

Ernie Wilson, Maintenance
Ernie is our “Facilities Maintenance” guy, aka “Mr. Fix It”. Ernie works closely with staff and the Property Committee
to keep our facilities in good working order.
