Presbyterian Women

Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, And empowered by the Holy Spirit, We commit ourselves: To nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study, to support the mission of the church worldwide, to work for justice and peace, and to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (USA), and witnesses to the
promise of God's kingdom.

Four circles meet monthly for prayer, Bible study and fellowship. Presbyterian women have a strong emphasis on service. They provide financial support for local and international projects, but also give their time and talents. Projects include providing desserts for the Soup Kitchen, collecting funds for “Pennies for Peru / Fellowship of the Least Coin” and funds for international Christian women’s funds, and working our annual “Missions Day” where a variety of sewing projects are completed for both local and international concerns. To know more about our past activities, please read the 2015-2016 Report.

PW officers meet quarterly or as needed, on the third Monday of the month at 9 am to plan, strategize, devise the budget, report on accomplishments, and select new activities. You can contact your officers for more information.
