The Youth Ministry program at First Presbyterian Church is a very important and special element of our church's ministry. The youth group is divided into Junior High (6th-8th grades) and Senior High (9th-12th grades). The youth meet year round and are actively involved in service, study, and fellowship within the life of the church.

Youth Connection (a time of study, fellowship and food) meets every Sunday night during the school year. Junior highs meet at 5:00 p.m. in the Junior high lounge in the Gym-Ed Building. Both Junior and Senior highs meet for dinner together at 6:00 p.m. in the Dining Hall (Memorial Hall). Senior highs then meet at 6:30 p.m. in the Senior high lounge in the Gym-Ed Building.

There is also a brief youth fellowship and study held every Wednesday night during the school year at 6:00 p.m. in the Senior high lounge in the Gym-Ed Building.

Other opportunities for the youth include bi-weekly Senior High Bible study and supper, Montreat Youth Conferences, Presbytery-wide youth events, mission trips and other fun-filled activities throughout the year.
