What is NaCoMe? It is a wonderful time for fun, spiritual growth, and fellowship in God’s natural setting. This is an awesome annual tradition for the ENTIRE Church family – there is something for everyone!
If you haven’t been to NaCoMe, you have been missing a treat! NaCoMe has modern cabins with air conditioning, a COLD swimming hole, a creek for crawdad hunting, excellent food, and good fellowship with your Church family!
Youth Sunday School class is a Bible study and discussion of the recent sermon. The youth dig deeper into biblical stories and see how these stories connect with their lives.
Nestled in the Sulphur Creek Valley, near Centerville, TN., NaCoMe Camp & Conference Center was once the home of Beaver Dam Springs Resort. The resort was purchased in 1939 by the Synod of the Presbyterian Church and transformed into what we know today as NaCoMe.
The name, NaCoMe, comes from the three Presbyteries of that time; Nashville, Columbia, & Memphis. The three have since become two: the Presbytery of Middle Tennessee and the Mid-South Presbytery which jointly own NaCoMe.
The modern climate-controlled cabins and various meeting facilities make NaCoMe Camp & Conference Center a year round destination for everyone. Located on the Western Highland Rim, NaCoMe Camp & Conference Center is home to deep hard wood forests, many wildflowers, and of course many wildlife critters. We hope you will come see us soon!
The Youth share a meal while fellowshipping with others in a fun-filled, Christ-centered atmosphere. They enjoy games and activities while learning how to apply Jesus to everyday life.
Youth Connection is a fun-filled, thought-provoking program. The youth meet together to learn about scripture and God and what role those play within their lives.
Our youth have many opportunities to participate in worship services such as Youth Sunday and the Christmas Cantata. They are the future of our church. The youth enjoy service projects such as Room in the Inn, Vacation Bible School, and serving as role models for our children.
Youth Conferences include Montreat (for rising 9th – 12th graders), Pinecrest (for 5th – 8th graders) and Weekend Youth Retreats.
